The fine corner views of Mount Sakurajima from my Club King Room were nice, making each morning feel like a postcard.
The shuttle service timings were somewhat limited, which occasionally made getting to the main attractions a little challenging.

Sakurajima Views to Cherish
From my King Room, I woke to amazing views of Sakurajima every morning. The elegant spa and the tranquil ambiance.
Although the location wasn't the most central, the free shuttle service to the main station definitely made exploring the city much easier and more convenient.

Sheraton Kagoshima really impressed me. The corner room on the 12th floor offered a fine view of Mount Sakurajima. Staring out at it was nice, like admiring a beautiful painting. The spacious room was clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The gym and onsen facilities were great, although I did wish for more time to enjoy them. Staff interactions made a huge difference too. They were friendly and genuinely helpful. There were some hiccups. The shuttle service had limited hours, and I found finding its pick-up spot didn't feel straightforward. These small inconveniences did not overshadow the amazing ambiance and quality of the hotel, but they could enhance the overall experience if addressed.

gorgeous modern interior design, lovely Sakurajima views, spacious rooms with customizable lighting
I wished the hotel would provide appropriate attire like a yukata instead of expecting guests to wear everyday clothes to the onsen!!! The tram station across the street gets excessively crowded!!!

I loved the modern touches in my room, especially the customizable lighting options and the super soft body lotion from the bathroom. The spa and onsen were the perfect places to unwind after a long day, with their soothing ambiance and great music. The only minor drawback was that the tram station across the street got a bit crowded, but it didn't take away from my stay at all! 😊

Enjoyed the spa and hot tub. Loved the buffet breakfast spread with a view of Sakurajima. the onsen facilities were exquisite.
Thrilled to wear my own clothes to the onsen instead of a cozy yukata provided by the hotel.

The stay was amazing, the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the tram stop and to the volcano and city center, making it a top choice for a two-day visit.
